CartonCloud engaged RGC Media & Mktng to grow their profile and awareness through earned and owned media channels. With only limited opportunities to grow their media profile by organic activity, the company required a solution that created highly engaging and useable content for the media, customers and other stakeholders a regular basis. It was important that the content solution positioned CartonCloud as an expert and leader in their field and was something that could be updated regularly.
RGC recommended the development of an insightful, relevant, measure of industry confidence and sentiment that provided the opportunity for the company to position the brand as the dominant player in the market. Industry sentiment and outlook data from owners and operators in the 3PL industry would not only provide important and accurate data for both current and future users but would also be of significant interest to the earned media. The development of an index would also provide a number of financial and business opportunities for CartonCloud. With the extra reach to media sources and a whole new base of potential clients, a significant opportunity existed to increase brand awareness and credibility. Through the added interest we aimed to leverage the index to drive enquiries and sales for CartonCloud’s software while also positioning CartonCloud as leaders within their industry.
The CartonCloud Logistics Index (CCLI) was designed to provide an accurate reflection of performance and sentiment within the 3PL industry. It is created using a blend of new data collected as part of an opt-in monthly survey of existing users and existing data mined from CartonCloud users.
The information is combined into a comprehensive quarterly report designed to provide insightful and valuable information for customers and the media. The report includes analysis and insight from CartonCloud executives and industry experts (CEO). The report is distributed to a comprehensive database of media contacts every quarter and has to date generated significant interest from the media and as a lead generation tool.
