Sales fire up at $13m Flinders Place

Flinders Place Port Augusta Masterplan(Low)Sales are heating up at Devine’s $13 million Flinders Place community, with more than 65 per cent of homesites now sold and only limited opportunities to purchase. Only 14 of the 42 homesites remain at the community on Flinders Terrace. Construction is also underway and nearing completion on 20 new homes. Civil construction is now finished and landscaping works will commence late this month. Devine South Australia Communities Manager Mark Devine said the community was quickly taking shape, but opportunities for living at Flinders Place were running out. “Flinders Place offers a great investment for buyers who want a property that is close to the CBD and the centre of the action, while still being affordable,” he said. “It’s also attracting strong interest from buyers who are looking to secure a property in a growing and developing community like Port Augusta. “There’s a range of infrastructure planned for the town including a new airport terminal which will provide seating for up to 68 people and a new airport car park and the Central Oval Community Sports hub facility.” He said Flinders Place was well catered towards first homebuyers, with fixed home and land packages priced from $257,000. “From large bocks for growing families to low maintenance options for downsizing, Flinders Place offers a variety of designs to suit buyers’ budget and lifestyle.” Flinders Place is just a few minutes’ drive from Port Augusta’s vibrant city centre and its shops, cafes, utilities and community facilities. Primary and secondary schools nearby include Carlton School, Port Augusta Secondary School, School of the Air, Port Augusta Special School, Augusta Park Primary School and Port Augusta West Primary School and Caritas College.  Early childhood facilities include Flinders Children’s Centre and Augusta Park Childhood Services Centre and Port Augusta West Childhood Services Centre. There is a range of recreational facilities in the area including Central Oval, Braddock Park, Keith Jones Memorial Park, Port Augusta Pony Club, soccer fields, Port Augusta Golf Course, Port Augusta Racecourse and Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden.
