Lifestyle buyers rush Orleana Waters

OrleanaWaters_EntryBUYER demand for lifestyle blocks is on the rise, with leading developer Devine’s Orleana Waters at Evanston Gardens selling 95 per cent of available stock.

Located city side of Gawler, the relaxed master planned community has sold 261 of the 275 homesites that it has released to market so far.

Orleana Waters’ latest two releases have been a hit with buyers. Only six of 39 lots remain for sale in the Seymour Release. Lot sizes range from 246sqm to 750sqm and prices range from $109,900 to $250,000. Four of 14 lots are left in the Brookside Release. Lot sizes range from 315sqm to 680sqm and prices range from $134,500 to $197,000. Devine South Australia Communities Manager Mark Devine said the strong demand for new stock pointed towards a trend towards lifestyle-blocks. “We’re seeing more buyers seeking a community with a relaxed, easy-going lifestyle while still being close to all of today’s modern conveniences,” he said. “Orleana Waters is situated just outside the charming country town of Gawler, which is considered the gateway to the famous Barossa Valley Wine Region. However, it’s still only 40km to the vibrant shops and restaurants of the Adelaide CBD. “It offers buyers the best of both worlds and we expect our remaining available stock will be snapped up soon.” To keep up with buyer demand, Orleana Waters will be launching a new land release to market within the next month. Upon completion, Orleana Waters at Evanston Gardens will feature 753 lots and is expected to be home to approximately 1,900 residents. Twenty three per cent of the community is devoted to open space , hectares of wetlands, ornamental lakes at the entrance, and community parks. Orleana Waters is conveniently located within minutes to the Northern Expressway and adjacent to Tambelin Train Station with a direct line to the Adelaide CBD. Shopping facilities are close by with residents only five minutes to the Gawler Town Centre and 10 minutes to Munno Para Shopping Centre. Some of the region’s top educational facilities including Trinity College are also nearby. For more information visit
