TRAVELLERS booking flights with multiple passengers could save up to 50% on the base cost of a flight (excluding taxes and charges) thanks to the latest sale starting today by leading low cost carrier AirAsia X. AirAsia X is offering fantastic discounts to a range of hot getaways across Asia including Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, China and Taipei. The more people you book, the more you save! The discounts are offered on the base cost of the fare (plus the normal taxes and charges): • Up to 50% discount for bookings with 4 passengers or more • Up to 40% discount for bookings with 3 passengers • Up to 30% discount for bookings with 2 passengers • Up to 20% discount for bookings with 1 passenger For example, if you make a booking for 4 or more people on a one-way flight from Melbourne to Tokyo, the base fare on a $409* seat will be slashed by 50%, with the final fare being $298* per person (the final fare includes the discount, plus the normal taxes and charges).
